Die Neuauflage des erfolgreichen Apple iPhone wurde mit HSDPA und GPS aufgemotzt. Damit ist die Bahn frei für Navigation oder Geotagging. Das 3,5-Zoll-Display ist das gleiche wie das vom Vorgänger und hat eine Auflösung von 480 x 320 Pixel. Mit der Multitouch-Eingabe hat Apple die Richtung vorgegeben, auch beim iPhone 3G ist kein Stift mehr nötig.
