Transcend bietet mit der StoreJet 35 Ultra ab sofort eine 500-GByte-Festplatte mit Aktivkühlung an.
Die Platte hat ein Aluminiumgehäuse und misst 198 x 128 x 48 Millimeter. Sie verfügt jeweils über eine eSATA- und USB 2.0-Schnittstelle. Die Festplatte ist mit Windows, Mac OS X und Linux kompatibel. Ohne Innenleben kostet das Gehäuse für 3,5-Zoll-Platten etwa 30 Euro.
